How it Sunday again and over a week into 2022 already. After my early-ish night last night I woke up feeling pretty good and looking forward to getting back into my usual Sunday routine.
Made it to the gym and did a mixed cardio and weights workout for 30 minutes and then headed to the lake for a swim. I haven’t been since about mid-November so it was definitely a shock to the system getting into the water which was 4.8°C over 5°C colder than the last time I swam. I managed to do about 8 minutes before I felt that it was enough for today.
After warming up with a hot coffee, I headed to a local nature park for a walk with a friend who I’ve not seen since the beginning of December and did a nice long walk and talk catching up.

This is my Fitbit screen from today, it’s been a good few months since I did this much activity and it feels good to be active again.
Since getting home I’ve done some housework, prepped most of my things for today as it’s a uni day and done some cooking! I finally sat down to relax at 7.15pm. What a day, as I get back into my old routines I’m starting to feel like me again.
Seriously impressed that you can handle swimming in such cold temperatures!
